Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) SMD MLCCs

KEMET Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) SMD MLCCs address the reliability concerns of commercial-grade products in higher-reliability applications. These multilayer ceramic capacitors undergo rigorous tests and inspections that exceed the industry standard for commercial products. The components also meet the defense and aerospace industries demand for products with rated voltages, capacitance values, and case sizes currently excluded from active military performance specifications. Three established testing protocols are available and are designed to provide accelerated conditioning and improve the failure rate. KEMET COTS capacitors are available in both C0G and X7R dielectrics with an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C.
