onsemi FPF2595 IntelliMAX™ Load Switch

onsemi FPF2595 IntelliMAX™ Overvoltage, Overcurrent Protection Load Switch is an advanced load-management switch for applications requiring a highly integrated solution. The FPF2595 disconnects load powered from the <6VDC power rail with stringent off-state current targets and high load capacitances (<100uF). The FPF2595 features a slew-rate controlled low-impedance MOSFET switch (35mΩ typical) and integrated analog features. The slew-rate controlled turn-on feature prevents inrush current and the resulting excessive voltage droop on power rails. onsemi FPF2595 also offers over-voltage protection and over-temperature protection. FPF2595's true reverse-current blocking (TRCB) function obstructs unwanted reverse current from VOUT to VIN during ON and OFF states. The device's extremely low off-state current drain of <2µA maximum facilitates compliance with standby power requirements. A logic input (active HIGH), capable of interfacing directly with low-voltage control signal / general-purpose input/output (GPIO) without an external pull-down resistor, manages switch control. With an input voltage range of 2.5VDC to 5.5VDC, FPF2595 supports a large range of consumer, medical, optical, portable, storage, and industrial-device power management applications.
