Texas Instruments TMP236EVM Evaluation Kit

Texas Instruments TMP236EVM Evaluation Kit is a plug-and-play system to test and evaluate the TMP236 analog temperature sensor. The evaluation module utilizes a USB interface for control and data streaming and can be plugged into a PC USB port. With the simple GUI, temperature measurements can be streamed within a matter of seconds after the evaluation module is attached to a PC and the GUI is started. The evaluation module hosts an MSP430F5528 microcontroller which acts as a bridge between the PC USB interface and the analog interface to the TMP236. The sensor section of the PCB may be separated from the main PCB to support prototyping in a system where the sensor is remotely located from the host controller. The TMP236EVM does not require calibration or any software programming - only the TMP236EVM GUI must be installed. The GUI displays real-time streaming of temperature measurements. The evaluation module also supports a second sensing channel for comparison purposes. Temperature data can be logged and exported in CSV format.

Features
