Texas Instruments ADS7054 14-Bit, 1MSPS, Differential Input, Small-Size Low-Power pin-to-pin compatible SAR ADCs offer a small form-factor and extremely-low power consumption. The ADS7054 is ideal for space-constrained and battery-powered applications that require high-speed, high-resolution data acquisition. The devices combine multiple resolutions, throughputs, and analog input variants, creating excellent performance. The ADS7054 provides low-power consumption supporting fully-differential inputs in the range of ±AVDD, for AVDD in the range of 1.65V to 3.6V. Excellent offset specifications over the entire AVDD and temperature operating range are maintained through the internal offset calibration feature.The Texas Instruments ADS7054 uses an SPI-compatible serial interface controlled by the CS and SCLK signals. The SCLK signal is used for both conversion and serial data output with the CS signal falling edge sampled by the input signal. Direct interfacing is enabled via a wide digital supply range of 1.65V to 3.6V to a variety of host controllers. The ADS7054 complies with the JESD8-7A standard for a normal DVDD range (1.65V to 1.95V). The ADS7054 is available in an 8-pin, small-size, X2QFN package. A specified over the extended industrial temperature range of –40°C to +125°C is featured on the ADC.
