TE Connectivity Micro Quadlok System (MQS) Auto Connectors
TE Connectivity's (TE) Micro Quadlok System (MQS) Auto Connectors utilize a 2.54mm centerline for applications in motor vehicles where vibration and mechanical stress are a concern. TE's MQS includes the positive features of existing contact systems, including high packing density, a high load of current-carrying capacity, robust design, and safe handling. The receptacle contacts and pin contacts are able to be inserted safely into the contact cavity and latch in with a clear click. The receptacle makes contact with four contact points on a 0.63mm x 0.63mm pin contact and reaches a current-carrying capacity of up to 7.5A at +80°C.
Micro Power Quadlok and Power Quadlok Systems enlarge the MQS contact family and add valuable features. The Micro Power Quadlok uses a 5.08mm centerline and has a maximum current carrying capacity of 34A or 25A. The Power Quadlok has a 7.62mm centerline and has a current-carrying capacity of 45A or 30A. TE Connectivity's MQS 1.5mm is suitable for sealed and unsealed applications. MQS 1.5mm can be used in combination with the MQS, Micro Power Quadlok, and Power Quadlok to provide secondary locking on a common level.
