STMicroelectronics HVLED001A Offline Controller for LED Lighting

STMicroelectronics HVLED001A Offline Controller for LED Lighting features quasi resonant (QR) topology and has an optimized output voltage accuracy at any load (PSR mode). This enhanced peak current mode controller is capable of controlling high power factor (HPF) flyback or buck-boost topologies in LED drivers with an output power of up to 150W. Other topologies like buck, boost and SEPIC can also be implemented.

The HVLED001A have an improved transient response and startup time. The controller has ST's innovative high voltage technology that allows direct connection of the HVLED001A device to the input voltage. This starts up the device and monitors input voltage without the need for external components.
