Sensata Technologies HEC High-Efficiency Contactors
Sensata Technologies HEC High-Efficiency Contactors enable seamless switching between 400V and 800V battery configurations, ensuring compatibility with 400VDC and 800VDC fast chargers. These Sensata contactors support drive operation at either voltage. HEC contactors integrate mechanically synchronized contacts, providing an inherently safe and highly efficient switching mechanism. The HEC series features up to five distinct battery configuration states, including independent access to each 400V battery for advanced functions. These configuration modes allow the HEC to deliver safety, ruggedness, simplified integration, reduced cooling needs, and significant system-level savings compared to alternative solutions.
