Same Sky Buzzers

Same Sky Buzzers provide a wide range of audio indicators and transducers. These magnetic and piezo buzzers are useful for audible identification and alerts across many industries and range from compact 3.2mm surface-mount buzzers to larger high-decibel models. Same Sky Buzzers meet the needs of various challenging audio alert applications.

Product Types

Micro Buzzers - Housed in surface-mount packages as small as 3.2mm x 3.2mm with low profiles starting at 1.9mm. Sound pressure levels range from 65dB up to 100dB at 10cm. Ideal for a range of portable equipment applications.

Magnetic Transducers - Narrow 1.5V to 12V operating voltage and high 20mA to 110mA current consumption. Compared to piezo buzzers, magnetic buzzers have a smaller footprint, lower sound pressure level, and lower-rated frequency. The transducers include a casing, piezoceramic element, and terminal. To operate, the user sends a square wave signal to the buzzer.

Piezo Transducers - Audio buzzers with a wide 3V to 100V operating voltage range and low <30mA current consumption. Piezo buzzers offer a higher rated frequency, higher sound pressure level, and larger footprint than magnetic ones. The transducers include a casing, piezoceramic element, and terminal. To operate, the user sends a square wave signal to the buzzer.

Magnetic Indicators - Narrow 3V to 12V operating voltage and high 15mA to 35mA current consumption. Compared to piezo buzzers, magnetic buzzers have a smaller footprint, lower sound pressure levels, and lower-rated frequency. Includes a built-in driving circuit (frequency generator).

Piezo Indicators - Audio buzzers with a wide 3.5V to 220V operating voltage range and low current consumption. Piezo buzzers offer a higher rated frequency, higher sound pressure level, and larger footprint than magnetic ones. Includes built-in driving circuitry.

Medical Buzzers – Medical buzzers compliant with IEC 60601-1-8 with a 5VDC rated voltage, 150mA input peak current, and 150Hz to 4000Hz frequency range. These models offer 44mm x 10.25mm dimensions and an operating temperature range of -30°C to +85°C with specific melodies that target different applications.

Sirens - Magnetic or piezo sirens with a built-in driving circuit and through-hole or wire-lead mounting options. These models feature Sound Pressure Levels (SPLs) up to 110dB with a range of variable tones and sounds, including high-low, warble, melodic, continuous, and more. Operating in a temperature range from -40°C up to 85°C, these sirens are ideal for security systems, medical devices, and industrial applications.
