The rugged panel construction includes a UV-stabilized surface, an extra edge seal for weather protection, and tin-coated copper leads that extend from the panels. PowerFilm WeatherPro Electronic Component Solar Panels can feature a tightly sealed package by coating leads with an RTV silicone compound.
