Panasonic Industrial Devices APS1/APS2 PhotoIC Couplers

Panasonic APS1 / APS2 PhotoIC Couplers integrate an AlGaAs LED and an intelligent optical sensor and signal processor to transmit light signals while allowing electrical insulation. These couplers are designed for high-speed transmission of signals between industrial equipment such as motors and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). The APS1 / APS2 series is capable of creating isolation to protect circuits for high-speed communication with a transfer rate of up to 50Mbps using totem pole (TTL) output logic. The devices also have high noise immunity of 15kV/µs to 20kV/µs and an isolation voltage of 3750Vrms. Panasonic APS1/APS2 PhotoIC Couplers are offered in a compact 4.4mm x 4.3mm package size with a low 2.1mm profile, ideal for space-constrained applications.
