Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) EV8020-QV-00A Evaluation Board showcases the MP8020 Power over Ethernet (PoE) powered device compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at/bt standards. The Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP8020 features configurable inrush and operation current limits, a GATE1 driver for external MOSFETs to improve efficiency under heavy loads, and a power good (PG) signal to enable downstream DC/DC converters. It includes an auxiliary power input detector (AUX) and GATE2 driver for low-loss wall adapter use. Additional features include a built-in detection resistor, thermal protection, and broad input under-voltage lockout (UVLO) hysteresis. The MP8020 comes in a 3mm x 5mm QFN-18 package.
