Microchip Technology DM164130-3 PICkit 28-Pin LIN Demo Board

Microchip Technology DM164130-3 PICkit™ 28-Pin LIN (Local Interconnect Network) Demo Board is a small and simple platform for developing LIN-based applications based on Microchip’s 28-pin Dual Inline Package (DIP) PIC® Microcontrollers (MCUs). The DM164130-3 is populated with a PIC16F886 MCU, a MCP2021 LIN Transceiver with voltage regulator, four LEDs, 2 push buttons, and a potentiometer. The PICkit 28-Pin LIN Demo Board has several test points to access the I/O pins of the MCU and a generous prototyping area.

The target MCU on the DM164130-3 PICkit 28-Pin LIN Demo Board can be programmed with the MPLAB® PICkit In-Circuit Debugger/Programmer or the MPLAB ICD In-Circuit Debugger using the AC164110 RJ-11 to 6-Pin Inline Adapter.

Features

  • Test points enabling access the to I/O pins of the MCU
  • Prototyping area
  • Pre-mounted PIC16F886 Microcontroller
  • Pre-mounted MCP2021 LIN Transceiver
  • Can be used with virtually any 28-pin DIP PIC MCU
  • Status LEDs and user potentiometer
