Littelfuse MHP-TAM Metal Hybrid PPTC Devices
Littelfuse MHP-TAM Metal Hybrid PPTC Devices are based on Littelfuse Circuit Protection's MHP (Metal Hybrid PPTC) technology and designed for applications with lower voltage and current ratings than previous series. The ultra-compact MHP-TAM series meets the space requirements of the growing Lithium Polymer (LiP) market. In battery cell designs, the MHP-TAM series utilizes the PPTC to act as a heater and to keep the bimetal latched until the fault is removed. Littelfuse's Metal Hybrid PPTC Devices with Thermal Activation (MHP-TAM) Series consists of ultra-low profile (L: 5.8mm x W: 3.75mm x H: 1.15mm), resettable thermal cut-off (TCO) devices designed for overtemperature protection of high-capacity lithium polymer (LiP) and prismatic cells used in ultra-thin portable electronics. This series offers a 9VDC rating, high and low current types, and multiple cut-off temperature ratings.Features
