PSoC® 6 Purpose Built for IoT
Sensing: PSoC 6 MCUs interface to analog or digital sensors through software-defined peripherals to create custom analog and digital circuits. PSoC 6 MCUs deploy CapSense® sensing solution for touch and proximity sensing.
Processing: PSoC 6 was built with two cores: a 150MHz Arm® Cortex®-M4 core to handle data processing and a 100MHz Arm Cortex-M0+ core to manage peripheral functions. This dual-core architecture allows designing for system power consumption and performance.
Connectivity: PSoC 6 MCUs offer wired and wireless connectivity options, including USB and BLUETOOTH Low-Energy. Infineon's WICED Wi-Fi chipset is easily integrated into embedded systems with PSoC 6.
Security: PSoC 6 was designed to provide hardware-based root of trust for secure applications, providing protection against unauthorized access to keys. In addition, hardware-accelerated cryptography and true random-number generation are provided.
Low Power: PSoC 6 is based on an ultra-low power 40nm process that enables low-power designs that consume as little as 22µA/MHz in active power mode and 4.5µA in deep sleep mode. PSoC 6 delivers extended battery life without sacrificing performance.
