Diodes Incorporated DisplayPort Linear Redrivers

Diodes Incorporated DisplayPort Linear Redrivers add support for DisplayPort 1.4, released by VESA. Diodes Incorporated Redrivers regenerate signals to boost the signal quality of high-speed interfaces. A single redriver can adjust and correct for known channel losses at the transmitter and restore signal integrity at the receiver. The DisplayPort Linear Redrivers feature latency-free, VESA DP1.4 spec compliant, and independent EQ / Swing / Gain control. Typical applications include notebooks, desktops, displays, tablets, and docking.

The PI3DPX1203B is the DisplayPort 1.4 compliant, up to 4 channel, 8.1Gbps HBR3 Linear Redriver with transparent link training support. The DisplayPort source-side and sink-side devices communicate through the AUX transaction between the source and the sink-side devices. The PI3DPX1203B linear driver supports dual-mode DisplayPort, latency-free for the variable video frame-rate, intra- and inter-channel polarity swap, and AUX link training transparent mode. This linear driver is ideal for notebook, desktop, AIO PC, display, monitors, active adapters, dongles, and docking.

The PI3DPX1207B is the DP-Alt 1.4 compliant and 10Gbps non-blocking Linear Redriver that supports 4k2k at 120Hz / 25.82Gbps. Each of the DP1.4 and USB3.1 Gen2 differential signals can be easily adjustable with equalization, output-swing, and gain-adjustment by either pin or I2C control settings. This PI3DPX1207B Linear Redriver operates at a maximum frequency of 1MHz and operating temperature range of 0°C to +70°C. Typical applications include active cables, notebook, AIO PC, desktop, embedded systems, DP-Alt monitors and displays, and active DP-Alt cables/adapters.
