Coilcraft RF Magnetics
Coilcraft RF Magnetics are a broad range of high-performance, surface-mount RF Magnetic components. These RF Magnetics include high-Q/tight-tolerance ceramic-core and high-inductance ferrite-core chip inductors as small as 0201 (0603) size; ultra-high Q, high current, non-magnetic air core inductors; bias/broadband inductors and chokes; broadband RF transformers; and RFID transponder coils. Coilcraft also offers fixed and tunable through-hole inductors. The components range in inductance from 500pH to 14.8mH with maximum DC currents from 30mA to 13.4A.
SM Ceramic Core Inductors
Coilcraft SM Ceramic Core Inductors are available in sizes as small as 0201 (0603) and inductance values ranging from 0.5nH to 33,000nH. These ceramic-core chip inductors offer exceptionally high SRFs, high Q, and tight inductance tolerances – many as tight as 1% with just a small premium.
Ferrite-Core Chip Inductors
Coilcraft Ferrite-Core Chip Inductors offer higher inductance values up to 1k µH. These ferrite-core chip inductors provide high impedance, current handling, low-frequency Q, and low DCR.
Broadband Bias Chokes
Coilcraft BCR and BCL conical inductors offer a flat bandwidth with high impedance to 40GHz and are ideal for use in bias tees. The 4310LC has a flat bandwidth to 6GHz, making it the ideal solution for lower bandwidth, high power applications.
RFID Transponder Coils
Coilcraft RFID Transponder Coils are designed for RFID applications at 125kHz. The 4312RV and 5315TC are designed to withstand harsh mechanical shock, making them suitable for use in tire pressure monitoring systems.
RF Tunable Inductors
Coilcraft Through-Hole RF Tunable Inductors offer a broad range of vertical and horizontal mount tunable inductors. The versatile Slot Seven and Slot Ten models operate over a wide frequency range and offer inductance values up to 1143µH. Precision molded slotted bobbins ensure tight tolerance and high stability.
RF Fixed Inductors
Coilcraft Through-Hole RF Fixed Inductors offer high Q factors and a 5% tolerance. These inductors feature a 14nH to 709nH inductance range, 1.5A to 4A maximum DC current range, a 2.1mΩ to 82.7mΩ maximum DCR range, an SRF range of 275MHz to 2.5GHz, and a minimum Q range of 60 to 80. Precision insert molding ensures a constant winding pitch.
Air Core Inductors
Coilcraft Air Core Inductors are tight-tolerance, surface-mount air-core inductors that combine the exceptionally high Q of an air wound coil with the convenience of surface mounting. The SQ family of square air-core inductors are available in seven sizes and offer Q factors up to 230 with current handling as high as 5.7A. GA309x inductors have high current ratings and low DCR, and the VS components offer the highest current ratings and the lowest DCR.
