I processori ARM i.MX  6SoloX Freescale offrono elaborazione eterogenea basata su core ARM® Cortex®-A9 e Cortex®-M4. Il processore i.MX 6SoloX è progettato per offrire sicurezza e connessione Internet in applicazioni IOT (Internet of Things, Internet degli oggetti) per uso domestico e all'interno di veicoli. Il processore i.MX 6SoloX è il primo processore ARM a utilizzare sia core Cortex-A9 che Cortex-M4. Questo offre la flessibilità di un chip in grado di eseguire un OS sofisticato con il Cortex-A9 nonché risposta in tempo reale e sistema di controllo con il core Cortex-M4. Il processore i.MX 6SoloX incorpora quattro domini di risorse a controllo indipendente per la massima efficacia e sicurezza durante la porzionatura delle risorse di sistema come la memoria e le periferiche.

  • Cortex-M4 at 200MHz for real-time response, system control / CAN messaging, and low-power system monitoring
  • Resource domain controller (RDC) enforces safe sharing of peripherals/memory
