3M EMI Absorbers

3M™ EMI Absorbers are flexible composite materials with specialized magnetic particles and a non-conductive PSA to absorb EMI. The absorbers' high permeability and magnetic loss help reduce EMI/RFI noise and improve signal integrity that could interfere with a system’s operations. For lower frequencies (<1 MHz), 3M™ magnetic shielding materials can interact and influence EM fields to help protect sensitive electronic components and circuitry. These absorbers help protect nearby electronic devices and components by absorbing EMI across multiple frequency bands.

The 3M (TM) EMI/RFI absorbing solutions provide 3M (TM) EMI Absorbers and 3M (TM) Magnetic Isolators (ferrite sheets). These absorbers are cost-effective and help increase the signal-to-noise ratio. The EMI absorbers reduce EMI crosstalk to improve signal integrity and achieve easy application with peel-and-stick solutions. Typical applications include computer systems, frames of mechanical bodies, and military equipment.
