Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated MAX17270/MAX17271 3-Output Switching Regulators

Analog Devices MAX17270/MAX17271 3-Output Switching Regulators are ideal for wearable applications needing efficient regulation of multiple power supplies in a tiny space. The regulators use a buck-boost architecture that regulates three outputs using a single, small 2.2µH inductor with efficiencies of up to 85%. The result is smaller board space with better total system efficiency than equivalent power solutions using one buck and linear regulators. Analog Devices MAX17270/MAX17271 3-Output Switching Regulators have a supply current of 0.85µA when only one output is enabled, plus 0.2µA for each additional output enabled.

The Maxim MAX17270 has three enable inputs and three output voltage programming inputs. The MAX17271 includes an I2C interface with an interrupt, a push-button turn on/off, and a Power Good indication. The MAX17272/MAX17273 are 2-output versions of the MAX17270/MAX17271 and will be available soon. All versions are available in a 4x4, 0.4mm wafer level package (WLP) or a 16-pin TQFN package.
