TDK Electric Vehicle Safety products include MLCCs, inductors, EMC components, and sensor systems designed to meet rigorous requirements for quality and long-term performance. With strict standards for safety-critical applications such as ADAS, airbag, EPS, ABS, TPMS (among others), automotive manufacturers rely heavily on the high-performance and stability of the electronic components used in these systems. 

Electric Vehicle - E-Mobility

E-mobility, or the development of electrically-powered drivetrains for use in cars and other motorized vehicles, places an increased demand on the electronic components, modules, and systems used in these types of vehicles. TDK offers power magnetics, circuit protection devices, MLCCs, and more designed for use in e-mobility applications such as battery and battery loading, BMS, inverters, and on-board chargers.

MMZ Chip Beads (SMD) for Signal Lines

TDK MMZ Chip Beads (SMD) for Signal Lines are designed to remove signal line noises from cell phones, PCs, TVs, DVDs, audio players, various modules, game machines, and more. These chip beads feature standardized sizes for automatic assembly equipment with no preferred orientation and have electroplated terminal electrodes that accommodate reflow soldering. The series offers high reliability due to its monolithic structure. The closed magnetic circuit structure allows high-density installation and crosstalk prevention between circuits, while the low DC resistance structure of electrodes prevents wasteful electric power consumption. The MMZ1005-E series offers broadband impedance values for higher frequency ranges. TDK MMZ Chip Beads (SMD) for Signal Lines are also available in AEC-Q200-qualified variants.

Electric Vehicle - Network

With the aim of improving things like safe driving, lowering the environmental burden, and increasing passenger comfort, vehicles increasingly need a high-speed in-vehicle LAN that connect multiple ECUs (electronic control units) together.
