These SMPM connectors enable the joining of two RF modules by captivating the connector between two shrouds. This mounting method allows for higher connector density and misalignment, which compensates for tolerance stack up. Amphenol / SV Microwave SMPM Connectors have higher withdrawal forces on the full detent shroud, making them ideal for quick and effective interconnects using both semi-rigid and flexible cables. The push-on design allows designers to mate connectors without the need for threads or wrenches.
