SA303-IHZ / SA53-IHZ PWM Motor Driver ICs

The Cirrus Logic SA303-IHZ and SA53-IHZ PWM Motor Driver ICs offer a highly attractive, highly integrated cost-effective system solution targeted for the motor control market space between lower current devices and higher-cost ICs operating on 400+ voltage supplies. The Cirrus Logic SA303-IHZ Brushless DC Motor Driver IC and SA53-IHZ Brush DC Motor Driver IC target fractional horsepower DC motors in the 3A continuous (up to 10A peak) power range and supplies of up to 60 volts. These Cirrus Logic devices are housed in a 64-pin Power Quad package with a compact footprint of less than 2 centimeters square. The SA303-IHZ and SA53-IHZ offer a virtual match to the SA306-IHZ and SA57-IHZ in terms of voltage supply. These motor control ICs are able to control motor current by monitoring and regulating the current in all motor phases in real time and eliminating the need to tax the bandwidth of the processor to accomplish current control calculations.
