DCPA1 Evaluation Modules

Texas Instruments DCPA1 Evaluation Modules allow quick and easy evaluation of the DCPA1 series isolated power modules (single output device, DCPA10505 (5V), DCPA10512 (12V), or DCPA10515 (15V), or a dual output device, DCPA10505D (±5V), DCPA10512D (±12V), or DCPA10515D (±15V). Each device is rated for 1 watt of output power, provides galvanic isolation, and operates from a typical 5V input bus. The appropriate evaluation module can supply each device's total output current rating. The required input and output capacitors are included on the board. Monitoring test points are provided to measure efficiency, power dissipation, input ripple, output ripple, and line and load regulation. Each evaluation module uses a recommended PCB layout that maximizes thermal performance and minimizes output ripple and noise.
