Current Sensing Resistors

Vishay / Dale Current Sensing Resistors are SMT, fixed, discrete resistors available in a wide range of package sizes. These resistors feature low resistance values, a variety of temperature performances, and a range of temperature coefficients.  The surface mount Vishay / Dale current sensing resistors offer tight tolerances, excellent overload capabilities (equivalent to wirewound), and are ideal for high-current and high-power applications.

High-Temperature Products

Vishay offers high-temperature resistors, capacitors, inductors, and semiconductors. In oil and gas drilling, the instrumentation is exposed to harsh environments, including extreme temperatures, pressure, moisture, shock, and vibration. Once commissioned, the instrumentation must be relied upon to function for 5 to 10 years, and be powered at very high temperatures with no maintenance. The components used for this instrumentation must be able to withstand these harsh conditions while maintaining accuracy. Failure of the data would necessitate its removal for repairs, causing costly delays. Vishay helps to avoid this possibility by offering several high-reliability and high-precision resistors, capacitors, inductors, and semiconductors.

WSL SMD Power Metal Strip® Resistor

Vishay / Dale has expanded its WSL Series SMD Power Metal Strip® Resistors to include additional values. The case size 0603 WSL series features a 0.25W to 2.0W power rating, 0.001Ω to 0.5Ω resistance range, 0.5nH to 5nH very low inductance, excellent frequency response, and low thermal EMF, as well as a solid metal nickel-chrome or manganese-copper alloy resistive element with low TCR (<20ppm/°C). Vishay / Dale´s WSL series low-value SMD Power Metal Strip Resistor´s operating temperature range is -65°C to +170°C, and the lead free version is RoHS compliant.

I resistori SMD Power Metal Strip WSL di Vishay / Dale®offrono una potenza nominale da 0,25 W a 5,0 W, un intervallo di resistenza da 0,0001 Ω a 0,5Ω, un' induttanza molto bassa da 0,5 nH a 5 nH, e un'eccellente risposta in frequenza. Questi resistori hanno anche una bassa EMF termica e un elemento resistivo in metallo massiccio di nichel-cromo o in lega di manganese-rame con un basso TCR (<20 ppm/°C). I resistori SMD Power Metal Strip WSL di Vishay / Dale® presentano un intervallo di temperatura di funzionamento compreso tra -65°C e +170°C, e le versioni senza piombo sono conformi a RoHS.
