SMD Isolated Power Modules

RECOM Power SMD Isolated Power Modules provide flexible gate drive bias voltages, ensuring high efficiency and system reliability. These isolated modules offer multiple input ranges depending on the selected variant and temperature range. Each part features two fully regulated outputs that can be user-programmed as asymmetric positive and negative values or as a single positive or negative value to meet requirements for various gate drive voltages. Additional features include various protections, such as input undervoltage and overvoltage lockout, overtemperature, output overload, undervoltage, and overvoltage. RECOM Power SMD Isolated Power Modules are suitable for building and home automation, datacom, energy, automation, and infrastructure.

RPX-0.5Q & RPX-1.5Q AEC-Q100 DC/DC Converters

RECOM Power RPX-0.5Q and RPX-1.5Q AEC-Q100 DC/DC Converters are automotive-grade buck converters with an integrated inductor in a compact 3mm x 5mm x 1.6mm thermally-enhanced QFN package with wettable flanks (various models). Operating within a -40°C to +125°C temperature range, the RPX-0.5Q and RPX-1.5Q components feature an input range from 4VDC to 36VDC, allowing 5V, 12V, or 24V supply voltages to be used. The output voltage can be set with two resistors ranging from 0.8VDC up to 30VDC (1.5A) or 34VDC (0.5A). These devices are fully protected against continuous short circuits, output overcurrent, or over-temperature faults. The RECOM Power RPX-0.5Q and RPX-1.5Q AEC-Q100, DC/DC Converters, are ideal for automotive, electric vehicle (EV), and harsh environment designs.

Automotive Application Solutions

RECOM Power offers a wide range of DC-DC converters suitable for automotive environments. DC-DC converters used in automotive applications must meet AEC-Q specifications for stress testing, performance, and production process control, establishing the reliability of the parts in their end applications. For the molded DC-DCs that integrate all components, including magnetics, the appropriate standard is AEC-Q100, intended for integrated circuits. These parts are also required to have a quality system that is compliant with ISO/TS 16949, including a Product Part Approval Process (PPAP), ensuring the continuing quality of manufactured parts.
