SKETCH PLA & Tough Filaments

MakerBot SKETCH Polylactic Acid (PLA) and Tough Filaments are specifically formulated for SKETCH 3D printers and are sized to fit within the SKETCH spool holder. The PLA filament is a corn-based plastic that is considered biodegradable under industrial processes. This material is ideal for early concept models because it is easy to use and office-friendly. The PLA filament also works great with breakaway supports, which print faster and can be removed more quickly than dissolvable supports. The tough filament variant is a thermoplastic engineered for strong and dimensionally accurate 3D-printed fixtures and prototypes. This filament provides high durability and toughness for printing projects. Both types of MakerBot SKETCH filaments are available in a range of colors: red, blue, yellow, green, orange, gray, black, and white.
