In an effort to reduce confusion and clear up erroneous part
numbering options, Kemet is eliminating the letter "C" as an
option for lead material on Kemet's Aximax and Goldmax product.
The 13th character of Kemet's Avimax and Goldmax part numbers,
which specifies lead material, must show either a "T" for 100%
Sn or an "H" for Sn/Pb.

Kemet converted standard lead material for non-automotive,
commercial parts in these product types currently showing "C" as
the lead material have actually been built as "T". This has been
visible to our customers for several years on our reel labels,
where the WIP labels already indicate the "T" version of the
part numbers.

There will be no change to the form, fit or function of these
parts, this is strictly a part number scheme change.

High-Voltage ≥500V Capacitors

KEMET High-Voltage ≥500V Capacitors are offered in a variety of form factors, case sizes, dielectrics, and capacitance values. These devices feature MLCC EIA case sizes from 0603 to 6560 and voltage ratings from 500VDC to 10,000VDC. KEMET High-Voltage Capacitors are ideal for commercial, automotive, and industrial applications.

Leaded High Voltage Capacitors (Commercial Grade)

KEMET Leaded High Voltage Capacitors (Commercial Grade) are comprised of high voltage Goldmax radial capacitors. The conformally coated ceramic capacitors combine the benefits of multilayer ceramic chip capacitor (MLCC) performance with radial leads for increased mechanical robustness. Additionally, leaded ceramic capacitors allow engineers to design-in capacitors without the need for PCBs such as sensors and motors. KEMET Leaded High Voltage Capacitors are available in C0G and X7R dielectrics with capacitance values up to 2.9µF in either axial or radial form factors.

High Temperature ≥150°C Capacitors

KEMET High Temperature (≥150°C) Capacitors are available in a wide variety of form factors, dielectrics, case sizes, and capacitance values for commercial, automotive, and industrial applications. These high-temperature ceramic solutions go up to +260°C. KEMET’s high-temperature platform includes surface-mount and leaded options, which can also have flex termination and high voltage features to provide a solution for every application type.
