USBF TV USB-A (USB 2.0) Connection System

Amphenol Socapex USBF TV USB-A (USB 2.0) Connection System is designed to resist shock, vibration, and traction and is sealed to an IP68 protection rating. This system allows users to insert a standard USB 2.0 cordset into the metallic plug, protecting it from shocks, dust, and fluids. Additional features include no hazardous on-field cabling and grounding, a Tri-Start Thread coupling mechanism, and improved EMI protection. Ideal applications for Amphenol Socapex USBF TV USB-A (USB 2.0) connecters include embedded computers, railways, navy systems, and battlefield communication systems.

Field Industrial Connection Systems

The Amphenol Socapex Field Industrial Connection Systems allow you to use a standard USB 2.0 connection in harsh environments. The connection systems are IP67 rated against fluids and dust, are shock, vibration, and traction resistant, and mechanical coded / polarized (2 positions). The Amphenol Socapex USB Field Industrial Connection Systems do not require cabling operation in the field - no tools required.

Rugged USB Solutions

Amphenol Socapex Rugged USB Solutions are designed to perform in the harshest environments, maintaining an IP68 seal against fluids and dust. Rugged USB connectors allow the use of a standard USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 cord set into a metallic plug to protect it from shocks, dust, and fluids. The series does not require cabling operation, or any necessary tooling, in the field. Amphenol Socapex Rugged USB Solutions feature Tri-Start threaded coupling to prevent the plug from backing off of the receptacle during high vibration.

USB 2.0 Harsh Environment Connection System

Amphenol Socapex USB 2.0 Harsh Environment Connection System helps to transform USB 2.0 cord-set into a harsh environment connector. During this transformation, no tools or no cabling operation in the field is required. The metallic plug is connected to the receptacle of the USB cord-set using a tri start thread coupling mechanism. The USB 2.0 connection system is resistant to shock, vibration, and traction and is sealed against fluids and dust (IP67). This harsh environment USB 2.0 connection also features improved EMI protection and mechanical coding. Typical applications are embedded computers, data acquisition, and transmission in the harsh environment. Ideal to use in railways, battlefield communication systems, and navy systems.
